Can I get a special rate at the Bahia Resort?
Yes! You will need to call the resort directly to make your reservation (800-576-4229). Let them know that you are part of the Oetting/Onysko wedding and you will get 15% off. You might be able to find an even better rate by booking online.
What is the dress code?
Please join us in wearing formal attire. Gentlemen, a suit and tie are ideal. Ladies, a cocktail dress or long dress would be perfect.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Seating will open at 4:00 and the ceremony will begin at 4:30. We recommend that you arrive early to make your way to the Gazebo and get settled before the festivities begin.
Where should I park?
To make your arrival as smooth as possible, we recommend coming a little early to allow time for parking. It’s a busy area, but a little extra time means you can arrive stress-free and ready to enjoy the festivities! If you are booking a room at the Bahia Resort, the hotel offers complimentary self-parking for one vehicle per room. If you are not staying at the hotel, you can park in one of the public parking areas adjacent to the hotel. Free public parking is available on a limited basis on Gleason Road and Ventura Cove. Overflow parking is also available on Bonita Cove.
Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors. The cocktail hour and reception will be both indoors and outdoors.
Will the reception be on a boat?
Yes! Our reception will take place on the William D. Evans sternwheeler. After dinner, we will cruise the calm and picturesque waters of Mission Bay.
